Caitlynn Fairbarns is an emerging multimedia artist, writer and curator currently residing in Toronto who completed her undergraduate degree at OCAD University in 2015.
Caitlynn interned at Hot Press Magazine in Dublin, Ireland in 2009 that strongly influenced her artistic practice. In 2013 she participated in her first film festival, Augmented Cinema that was curated by OCAD University students. Curating and art event planning is a passion that Caitlynn discovered in November of 2014 as she curated her first art show Third Times a Charm. Her second show in the Spring of 2015 was titled Fake Geek Girls Like Us which stemmed from her undergraduate thesis. In the summer of 2016 she curated two shows that explored feminism and pop culture, May The Force Be With Her which took place at 401 Richmond and a second Fake Geek Girls Like Us show which was held at the Annex Art Centre.
